Internet Banking Browser Requirements
Netscape Browser
(Netscape Browser 7 or newer is recommended. If using version 8, make sure you have version 8.1 or higher.)
Visit the Netscape Web site
for the latest Netscape browser.
It may take awhile to download, (from few minutes or longer depending
on your connection to the Netscape Web site), we suggest you begin
when you have time to spare. Once the download is finished, it will
be given a download complete message. Once it is complete exit your
browser.
To install the downloaded software, double-click on the installation
file on your desktop (or your default downloads directory). The installation
Wizard should appear and walk you through the installation process.
Macintosh users will require StuffIt Expander to decode the Binhex
or Macbinary file.
Once the installation is complete, verify by checking your browser
to ensure the 128-bit encryption is available. To do this, select
the Help menu item from the top pull-down bar and choose About
Communicator... (About Navigator on some versions). On the screen
that appears, scroll down to the boldface paragraph that reads, "This
version supports...". It should state that it supports US security.
Then you know that the 128-bit encryption is in place.
